GoBoat Hire Terms

These terms apply to self-drive GoBoat hire with EcoWave Adventures Ltd. ("we", "us") in Antigua and Barbuda. By booking or using a GoBoat you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, please ask us before you book.

1. The hire

A GoBoat hire is a self-drive rental of a solar-powered GoBoat. No boating licence is needed. Every hire starts with a short safety briefing, which everyone on the boat must attend, and you must follow the instructions and safety guidance our team gives you. Hires run 1 to 8 hours, full day on request.

We're open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Every hire starts and finishes within those hours, so the last 1-hour hire starts at 4:00 PM.

2. People per GoBoat and children

• A maximum of 2 people may be on each GoBoat, including children. Groups of 3 or 4 need 2 GoBoats.
• Children aged 2 and over are welcome when they ride with a parent. Each child takes one of the 2 seats.

3. Prices

• Adults and anyone aged 15 and over: US$75 per person per hour (US$150 per GoBoat for two people). A 2-hour hire is US$150 per person (US$300 per GoBoat).
• Children aged 12 to 14: half price (US$37.50 per hour).
• Children under 12 (aged 2 and over, with a parent): free.

Prices are in US dollars. The price confirmed when you book is the price you pay for that booking.

4. Weather and safety

Your safety comes first. We may cancel, delay or shorten a hire if the weather or sea conditions are unsafe, or for other safety reasons. If we cancel your hire because of the weather, you will receive a full refund. We may also end a hire early if anyone on board ignores the safety briefing or our team's instructions, or uses the GoBoat in a way that puts people or the boat at risk.

5. Cancellations and changes

• Bookings made through Viator or another booking platform follow that platform's cancellation and refund policy, as shown when you booked.
• Bookings made directly with us (by WhatsApp, phone, email or our enquiry form): we'll confirm the cancellation terms when we confirm your booking.

6. Cruise passengers

Cruise passengers are very welcome. Please tell us your ship's all-aboard time when you book so we can suggest a suitable start time. A GoBoat hire booked with us is not an excursion sold by your cruise line, so please allow a comfortable margin to get back to the port.

7. Looking after the GoBoat

Please use the GoBoat only in the area explained at your safety briefing, and return it on time to the beach where you started. Tell our team straight away about any problem or damage.

8. Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the laws of Antigua and Barbuda.
